July 19, 2020— Potomac, Md. native Brett Feyerick has announced his verbal commitment* to Princeton University beginning in the fall of 2021, giving them their first for the class of 2025. He was named Swimming World’s Up & Comer in February 2016 . He also broke the 11-12 National Age Group Record in the 50 back in December 2015. July 18, 2020— U.S. National teamer Coleman Stewart posted a 44.6 in the 100 yard backstroke and 45.9 in the 100 yard butterfly in a time trial published on Stewart’s Instagram account on Saturday, July 18th. Stewart stated that the two swims were his first races since the 2020 ACC Championships in February, where he won the 100 (44.04) and 200 backstrokes (1:37.71) and took 2nd in the 100 butterfly (44.92). Stewart was named the 2020 ACC Men’s Swimmer of the Year.

July 9, 2020— Stanford University will cut 11 of its varsity sports teams following the 2020-21 school year, it announced Wednesday . The teams include men’s and women’s fencing, field hockey, lightweight rowing, men’s rowing, co-ed and women’s sailing, squash, synchronized swimming, men’s volleyball and wrestling. March 31, 2020— Quinn Harron from Sandy Springs, Georgia will take his talents to Cambridge, Massachusetts next fall as a freshman on Harvard University’s men’s swimming and diving team. He will suit up with Arik Katz , Dylan Rhee , and Zach Bartel in Harvard’s class of 2024. Harron is a senior at Marist School in Atlanta where he is a two-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American. He won the 200 IM (1:48.59) and 100 breast (54.21) at the 2020 GHSA 1-5A State Swimming & Diving Meet in February, going lifetime bests in both events. March 10, 2020— The Virginia women are getting boost after boost to their NCAA title hopes this week: two more divers qualified for NCAAs Tuesday, bringing the Cavaliers to 3 women’s divers invited. Senior Sydney Dusel won the 3-meter event today in Zone A, putting herself as the #1 priority diver invited out of the Zone on the women’s side. Dusel was second on 1-meter yesterday. Though Zone A isn’t necessarily a powerhouse diving zone nationally, Dusel’s performances this week could put her in the mix to score points at NCAAs next week.
