April 4, 2020— Triple Olympic champion Katinka Hosszu believes the financial lifeline thrown by the International Swimming League will be of great benefit to lesser-known swimmers who do not receive a lot of funding. The ISL on Friday announced an $11million package for the 320 swimmers on the 10 teams who were due to contest season two this year. March 8, 2020— Energy Standard has picked up another new swimmer for its season two roster in the International Swimming League (ISL), announcing the signing of Zsuzsanna Jakabos . “Our next swimmer is new to our team this year but will be a great addition with her versatility in many events. Hungarian @zsuzsubell!", Energy Standard’s Instagram post stated today. Jakabos is a four-time Olympian, making the games in 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016, her highest finish was sixth place as a relay swimmer. She is a two-time European Short-Course champion.
