In their first home dual meet of the season, the Auburn Tigers split with Florida State, winning over the women’s team and falling to the Seminole men. On the men’s side, it was Florida State’s first time beating Auburn in program history. WOMEN’S MEET The Auburn women handled the visiting FSU women, claiming the lion’s share of events today. The Tigers were out to a hot start, winning the 200 medley relay (1:40.35) and the first two individual events. The 200 individual medley on Day 2 of the ACC Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships lived up to the hype. Five swimmers, 0.22 seconds separating them, all in B cuts that would’ve gotten to NCAAs last year.

North Carolina State is chasing a sixth straight ACC Men’s Swimming and Diving Championship, hoping to continue a bona fide dynasty . But it’ll have competition across the board. The event, which gets underway Wednesday at the Greensboro Aquatic Center, has plenty of returning talent, with co-Most Valuable Swimmers from 2019, the Wolfpack’s Coleman Stewart and Georgia Tech’s Caio Pumputis both back.
