July 11, 2020 — Georgia Bates has opted to stay close to home for her college career, verbally committing to the University of Florida for the 2021-22 season. She’ll be reunited with her older sister, Talia Bates , who is a rising sophomore All-American for the Gators. She will join Ekaterina Nikonova , Olivia Peoples , Anna Auld , Mary Kate Kelley , Micayla Cronk , and Brooke Zettel in Gainesville as a member of the class of 2025.

July 9, 2020 — The University of Florida has recently gained a big verbal commitment for the fall of 2021 from Ekaterina Nikonova of Novosibirsk, Russia. She will join Olivia Peoples , Anna Auld , Mary Kate Kelley , Micayla Cronk , Brooke Zettel , and Georgia Bates in Gainesville as a member of the class of 2025. Regarding her commitment, she said: Nikonova is a talented sprint freestyler who represents the Russian Swimming Federation internationally.

Sept. 23, 2019 — Cronk does her club swimming with Blue Dolfins and owns the Olympic Trials cuts in the 100m and 200m free. She capped off a stellar summer by finishing 22nd in the 200m free and 26th in the 100m free at Phillips 66 Nationals en route to earning her first berth on the U.S. National Junior Team. She raced six events at Juniors East in December and won the 50/200 free combo at the Florida Spring Championships in February.
