The Air Force Academy men's swimming and diving team claimed individual titles in three more events on day three of the 2021 Western Athletic Conference Championships Friday, Feb. 26. The Falcons competed in six swimming events at UNLV's Buchanan Natatorium, while the divers competed on the 3-meter springboard at Northern Arizona's Aquatic Center.

Gavin Gould , a senior at Spring Valley High School and a member of the Sandpipers of Nevada, has made his commitment to swim for the United States Air Force Academy in the fall of 2020. A distance freestyler, Gould will be joining a Falcons team that is currently the defending Western Athletic Conference Champions. As a junior last year, Gould won a bronze medal in the 200 yard IM at the Nevada 3A & 4A High School State Championship meet (1:56.28). The 2020 Indiana Boys State Swimming and Diving Championship took place on Saturday, Feb. 29 at the IUPUI Natatorium in Indianapolis, Ind. A total of five Indiana state records were broken during the meet.
The meet was highlighted by senior Jake Mitchell breaking the National Public High School record in the 500 free with a jaw-dropping 4:14.68. Carmel used their impressive depth to win the sixth-straight championship crown with 331 points ahead of Munster (183) and Chesterton (163).
