The University of Tennessee has received a new verbal pledge for their growing class of 2025 from Jordan Crooks of George Town, Cayman Islands. He will join current Carmel Swim Club teammates and in Knoxville in the fall of 2021. He told A talented sprinter, Crooks does his club swimming with Camana Bay Aquatic Club and most recently won six events at the Cayman Island National Championships. Swimming in his future home pool, he finaled in two events at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Knoxville back in January.

Before Carmel High School swimmers Wyatt Davis and Jake Mitchell head off to Michigan, they had some unfinished business: an assault on the state record book. The seniors led the Greyhounds to their sixth consecutive state title Feb. 29 at the boys swimming state finals at the Indiana University.

The 2020 Indiana Boys State Swimming and Diving Championship took place on Saturday, Feb. 29 at the IUPUI Natatorium in Indianapolis, Ind. A total of five Indiana state records were broken during the meet.
The meet was highlighted by senior Jake Mitchell breaking the National Public High School record in the 500 free with a jaw-dropping 4:14.68. Carmel used their impressive depth to win the sixth-straight championship crown with 331 points ahead of Munster (183) and Chesterton (163).

2020 IHSAA Boys Swimming & Diving State Finals Top 5 Teams The boys of Carmel HS once again dominated in the IUPUI Natatorium, bringing home their 6th-consecutive state title. Head coach Chris Plumb , who guided the team to 6 event wins and 5 state records, become the most decorated IHSAA coach with 6 state championships.
