Pipeline Swimming’s Michelle Morgan has verbally committed to the UNC Tar Heels for fall 2022. She’s a junior at Freedom High School in Tampa, Fla., and joins UNC’s class of 2026. Morgan was an honorable mention ‘One to Watch’ in our Top 20 recruiting rankings for the girls’ class of 2022 . Kylie Yoder , a junior at Weddington High School and a member of SwimMAC Carolina, has made her verbal commitment to swim for the University of North Carolina beginning in the fall of 2021. A backstroker and butterflier, Yoder looks to join a Tar Heels team that finished in 4th place at the 2020 Atlantic Coast Conference Championships after finishing in 7th as a team in 2019. At the 2020 North Carolina 3A High School State Championship meet, Yoder finished in 7th place in the 100-yard butterfly (57.19) and walked away with a bronze medal in the 200-yard freestyle (1:51.83). Roswell, Ga. native Madeline 'Maddie' Singletary, who owns a pair of Winter Juniors standards, does her club swimming with Swim Atlanta and placed eighth in the 400 IM at Juniors East in December. This past summer, she had four top-8 finishes at Georgia LCM Seniors and was the runner-up in the mile at the Southern Premier Invitational last short course season.
