East Meadow, N.Y. – The relay team of Josie McCartney (Verona, Wisc.), Natalie Heim (Middletown, N.J.), Leiya Istambouli (Danbury, Conn.), and Cornelia Jerresand (Taeby, Sweden) set a new program-record with a third-place finish in the 200 Free Relay on night two of the 2022 BIG EAST Championships on Thursday. The team combined to touch the wall in a time of 1:33.17 breaking the previous school record of 1:33.81 set earlier this season.
