The University of California, Santa Barbara has received a pair of verbal commitments for the fall of 2021 from Redmond, Wash. native Amelia Hammer and Grace Lockwood of San Diego, Calif. Ventura, California’s Grace Endaya has announced her intention to spend her collegiate swimming career at the University of California, Santa Barbara. The Ventura High School junior will begin with the Gauchos in the fall of 2021. Endaya is a junior at Ventura High School. At the 2019 CIF-Southern Section Division 3 Championships, the then-sophomore finished 6th in the 50 free (24.33) and 6th in the 100 free (52.38). She also anchored the 4th-place 400 free relay (52.05) and the 9th-place 200 free relay (24.00). Endaya swims year-round for Buenaventura Swim Club. She competed at Mt. ...
