April 4, 2020— Coleman Stewart of NC State and Virginia’s Paige Madden were named the ACC men’s and women’s swimmer of the year, respectively, in Friday’s list of postseason honorees . April 3, 2020— Coleman Stewart of North Carolina State and Paige Madden of Virginia have been named the ACC Swimmers of the Year for the truncated 2019-2020 season. The awards mirrored those handed out for Most Valuable Swimmer at the ACC Championship meets. Stewart, a senior, ended the season as the country’s top swimmer in the 100 backstroke thanks to his ACC Record of 44.04 done at the ACC Championship meet. Rausch recently competed at the 2020 Texas UIL 6A State Swimming and Diving Meet, where she won the 500 free (4:48.06) and was runner-up in the 200 IM (2:02.21) at the conclusion of her junior year season at Lake Travis High School. March 31, 2020— In light of the Olympic postponement, United States National Team member Erica Sullivan is waiting to see who USC will hire to replace outgoing head coach Dave Salo before confirming she will enroll next fall. March 30, 2020— American Athletic Conference (AAC) Champion Kristen Stege will transfer to the University of Tennessee after a breakout freshman season at East Carolina University. Stege made headlines in February when she won the AAC title and broke the conference record in her first-ever attempt at the 1650 yard freestyle. March 29, 2020— Alli Anger of Mandeville, Louisiana has announced her verbal commitment to join the Drury University swim team in the fall. She swims year round with the Pelican Athletic Club as well as attending Archbishop Hannan High School. Last November Anger was a two-event finalist at the LHSAA (Louisiana high school) Division 3 State Championships. There, she finished 3rd in both the 200 free (1:58.12) and 100 back (1:00.89).
