Stanford University has landed another big recruit for the 2021-22 season, this time from Bellevue, Wash. native and U.S. National Junior Team member Amy Tang . She will join Anna Shaw, Samantha Tadder, Torri Huske and Meghan Lynch, as well as diver Lauren Burch, as a member of the Cardinal’s class of 2025. At the 7th FINA World Junior Championships last summer in Budapest, Tang swam the third leg on the winning mixed 4x100m free relay along with Luca Urlando, Adam Chaney, and Gretchen Walsh.

Anna Shaw has given her verbal pledge to Stanford University beginning in the fall of 2021. She will join Samantha Tadder , Torri Huske and Meghan Lynch , as well as diver Lauren Burch , as a member of the Cardinal’s class of 2025. Anna Shaw , a rising senior at Heritage High School in Littleton, Colorado, has announced her intention to attend Stanford University in 2021-22. Shaw specializes in sprint freestyle and is the reigning Colorado high school 5A state champion in the 50 free. At the 2020 CHSAA Girls 5A State Championships in February, she won the 50 free in 22.99, the only sub-23 sprinter in the field.
