The University of Louisville has added a new addition to their growing class of 2025 after receiving a verbal commitment from Gustavo Saldo of Curitiba, Brazil. He will join fellow countrymate , as well as Tommy Bried , Ryan Hogan , Eli Shoyat , Lance Godard , Wylie Kruse , John Bossler , Owen Taylor and Luke Shourds in The Ville at the start of the 2021-22 season. Regarding his commitment, he said: Saldo owns numerous Brazilian youth age group records in freestyle and butterfly events and has represented the Brazilian Swimming Federation internationally.

2019 FINA World Junior Championships 200 free bronze medalist Murilo Sartori of Brazil has verbally committed to the University of Louisville for the fall of 2021, he announced on Instagram yesterday. Sartori is primarily a freestyler, with the 200m freestyle probably being his best event. He won bronze at last summer’s World Junior Championships with a time of 1:47.39, and has best times of 50.01 and 3:52.45 in the LCM versions of the 100 and 400 freestyles as well.
